Four days for the Fourth
July 1, 2, 3 & 4
It's a 4TH OF JULY weekend extravaganza including a raft-up on the Miles River, a dinner in St. Michaels and a two day raft-up in Almshouse Creek, with potluck dinner, a picnic and of course FIREWORKS!
The fun begins on Saturday, July 1, with a raft-up hosted by Tom and Pat Bernhart. We will anchor south of St Michaels, in the (no name) cove north of and before the bascule bridge on the Miles River. Located at: (38° 47.53 N; 76° 08.19 W).
3:00 pm - Raft-up
5:00 pm - Happy Hour BYOB and appetizers
6:30 pm - Dinner which will include grilled chicken kabobs, rice, and a salad. Attendees should bring appetizers and dessert to share. BYOB water and ice.
Cost is $10.00 per person
The party continues at anchor on Sunday, July 2, with swimming and relaxing during the day, and a 5:00 pm ride to St. Michaels for a dinner out at one of the fine restaurants. All hosted by Ben & Candy Wilson.

Then on Monday, July 3, we will sail west across the Chesapeake and up the South River for another 2-day raft-up in Almshouse Creek. Michelle and Richard Sanger are organizing the entertainment and a pot-luck supper Monday evening. Independence Day Decoration competition with prizes to best decorated boats are part of the fun..

6:30 pm - Richard's grilled Pork Tenderloin and Beanie Burgers. Last names A thru I bring a side dish. and J thru R dessert. Attendees should bring water and ice if needed

Finally we will enjoy a picnic ashore at the Murphy’s Tuesday, July 4th, in the evening. This is followed by a spectacular fireworks display. You may come to this part of the weekend either by sea or land.
